it is much father than you can see (1000 feet or more)
(line of sight)
is there an exact number? im just wondering because im gonna be doing some fpv with it

no it depends on the environment
always do a range check to test your case
how do I do a range check?

the full range transmitters will reach over a mile but other factors will limit the reception
there is a power limit button on the transmitter
the range check procedure is outlined in the manual
