Hello, I am James! Welcome to Horizon Hobby, how can I assist you with finding the right item to suit your needs?
I have a Efllite POwer 46 mnotor. The prop shaft is too short for a 10 pitch prop
what am I looking for?
James H.
What type of prop are you using, and just to make sure you are using the inlcuded prop adatper as well?
Yes the included prop adtapter, the prop is 14X 10
James H.
Also another thing, a 10 inch prop would be rather small for this motor.
Is it an electric style prop?
Yes
James H.
Sorry I miss read that, I just noticed that said a 10 pitch.
My bad
James H.
Like an APC? I have a Xoar 14 x 7 on the stock setup and it fit well. Let me see if there might be a longer adapter option available.
OK
Yes, an APC prop
The 14 x 10 has a hub too thick
James H.
Is it setup to where you can use this adapter on the motor? http://www.horizonhobby.com/p...
yes, I think that will work. Just might need to adjust cowl positrion. I am accommodating a spinner plate
James H.
The electric props have a rather thin hub on them, does you packaging have a E at the end of it anywhere,
SCuse me a sec. I'm gonna check that
James H.
Ok, I would just like to make sure, I wouldn't want anything to get burned up.
Yes, it is an E prop. All of my props are E
I can barely get the prop nut on.
James H.
Ok, no problem, just wanted to make sure is all. That is a strange one for sure, they might have started making them thicker for some reason.
That other adapter would see the job done for you for sure.
Thank you. I will order this adapter and a couple vprops
all done, thanks
James H.
You are very welcome, happy to help anytime I can.
