Hello ! How are you ? My name is Mike , How can i help you have an R/C good time ?
I have the Sport Club for 5 weeks or so and the Motor or gear box is malfunctioning. With trottle applied, the motor will not turn unless you manually rotate the propeller. Also, full power is reduced to the point that the plane will no longer climb under full power. PLUS there is a rattelling sound as the propeller spins

Will I have a problem installing a new gearbox since it looks like it's securly bonded into the Styrofoam

you might have to do some surgery , cutting with a sharp blade and regluing.
