The Radian would be a good choice for that. It can glide for a very long time as well as it is powered as well.
how much wind can it handle?

Quite a bit of wind it is a glider so it will not be an issue.

You will probably get over 1000feet of range with that system.
could i use a dxE

Yes you can use the DXe for that plane no problem.
how far is the transmitters range?

It is full range so it can go pretty far.
