How much experience should I have on the Apprentice before I buy the Pulse?

the Pulse doesn't have SAFE tech, so I suggest mastering takeoffs/landings from any direction and wind condition up to 10 mph before flying a Pulse
are you able to do that now?
No. Not at 10mph. I agree with you and I am going to give it more time.
