Hello! How may I assist your shopping experience? Did you have a question about the beaver?
Yes
Joe C.
great, how may I assist?
Does the Saito FG 33R3 Gas Engine have enough power to fly this airplane at the altitude of Denver - 5200 ft?
Joe C.
that wouldn't be my first choice-- likely not
How about a DLE 40 Twin?
Joe C.
that would be better
Will it fit completely inside of the cowl?
Joe C.
I can't say, we don't offer DLE products
you can inquire with our tech dept for inside cowl dimensions: productsupport@horizonhobby.com
or you can call 888.959.2305, but phones are usually very busy this time of day-- it's best to call early. they open 8 AM central time
be sure to leave a callback number if you phone
Are the floats for this the same as the floats for the HNA9 1/4 scale cub?
Joe C.
yes HAN4580 is the recommended item
The Beaver has a narrow wing. How will it fly at DenverAltitute?
Joe C.
narrow, but long span-- aspect ratio is relatively high and that is effieent
just watch your turns at low speed and be careful the first few approaches
Thank you? The Airplane arrived last week and I am trying to decide what engine to use. I also have the floats from my 1/4 scale cub. What Engine would you recommend?
Joe C.
I'd go with a zenoah g45
or maybe the evolution 62
it has the most power for the weight
Thank you. I have no further questions at this time.
Joe C.
you're welcome
