I think I will be ordering the efl3100. I suspect it comes with 1 battery. How much are additional batteries? Are there longer life batteries that are available?

The 3200mah battery is about the largest option that will fit and let me pull up an additional battery for you.
The cahrger will allow you to charge one battery at a time on a 12v power source.
The charger that comes with the package works off the car battery? What charger would let me charge the batteries via home AC outlet? How much for the 3200mah battery and how long of use (I hear the battery that comes with the plan is good for 10-15 minutes).

Yes, that cahrger will work off the car battery, the optional battery sells for $29.99 and the KX80 cahrger would be my charger recommendation and the link above it the link to the battery.
You will also need an EC3 charge lead as well.
How long is the usage of hte 3200mah vs the battery that comes with the plane?

The average flight time is about 7 mins, but nce you get better at flying it would easily get you closer to 10-15 mins
That is the charge lead that will plug into the charger and then into the battery.

You still didn't tell me if the 3200mah flight time is longer, the same, or less than the battery that comes with the kit.

The battery is the exact same mah as the one that is included with the aircraft. so it would be the same flight time.
Also, is the float set shown for $44.99, is that the one I want for efl3100?
How many charging cycles will the battery take?

Yes the floats part number EFL550 are for the EFl3100 and if you take good care of the lipo batteries you can get well over 150 cycles out of each one.
When will the next version of the efl3100 plane be coming out?

At this time, I hae not heard of any newer version are being offered or released.

I don't havc the exact date but the SAFE version was released about 2/3 years ago.
